| Now this is just me......we are seeing sales......but to outsiders. While that isn't a bad thing, the reality is that we still have two groups buying.
A) End-Users
B) Domainers
While A is great, we don't have a MASS influx of outsiders sending inquiries. Yes, there are inquiries, but it is not a massive thing where everyone is getting end-user inquiries. The inquiries are for specific names for an end user use.
B is a different story all together. The reality is that domainers are NOT buying up the names in droves. In fact, there is still little action in the sales section. Where there is action is in the hand-reg's. IN MY OPINION, when the hand-regs tip over to people buying in the aftermarket, as in our sales section sees a large amount of buying and not the cherry picking that is going on, that is when the scales turn to critical mass.
Not trying to be a downer, but more of a realist. A market that is in favor of an extension has a good pocket of aftermarket sales to domainers. We don't have that yet on anything other then sales in the 5-$50 range. Once sales start where obvious $200 and above are happening in that section.....that is when I would agree we are at critical mass.
Again, my opinion. |
