Thanks, my concern was that this directory would fall under the ready-to-go software for huge directories. What I want to do is on my index page have only 4 categories which will be designated by graphic buttons. Then under each graphic I would like a search bar to search that category as an option.

Once you click one of the four main categories it will give a sample random return of results along with an option to search other categories.

Can the phplinksdirectory provide that with some template manipulation ?
