Yes, but if they are so worried about registrars selling names, and so much that they would create a policy about it, I would dare say that they wouldnt be very tolerant of ANYONE selling names.

They can control registrars to some degree when a landrush happens, but they can't really control the secondary market, but it appears that they may be trying to do so now.

Hmmm after reading this thread I got a wee bit nervous. I was going to reg a .in domain to use for a blog idea I had. Its not as generic, but a name. Maybe
I should reconsider

Anything you can register that's available today is not likely to be taken. They are targetting the really good .in names, and frankly, if you utilize the domain you register, you're safe anyways. Ironically, I stuck a quick little blog on my Poker.in and it's PR 3 already, lol.

Guys - you'll probably need a mindset similar to the people who've purchased .mobis

I have 250-odd Indian domains but a good return on anything less than premium domains might be 2 years away at least. In the meantime, its time to develop.
