In a previous post, I asked about the contents of the URL string (after the domain name). There were a very interesting and enlighting responses:

I have now another question, it is regarding the actual domain name part of the URL.
The question is:
With respect to SEO, How important is the domain name in a URL search string, and is it worth repeating the keyword in the URL? I am using a non-Dot-com domain name just for the heck of it.
Which would the search engine give priority when the search string is:
"examples of resumes"
Example 1:
http://examples.cc/of-resumes
Example 2:
http://examples.cc/examples-of-resumes
So, is the actual domain taken as part of the phrase that somebody would be searching for?
