As mentioned, there are many many threads on this subect here on #1 Namepros!

Many of those new and newer to domains, such as yourself, rely simply on what is being "reported as sold" / "domains du jour" ... BUT it is both sales -and- resulting developments and promotions (and traffic and sales and advertising revenue and ancillary monetizations, and even future resales) that comprise stronger components of value, in my judgement.

Just my two sense.

I agree with you. the only part of the .mobi debate that makes me reconsider is the fact that some large corporations have started using .mobi though. With mod-rewrite a site can detect a handset and there is no need for a .mobi imho.
