![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I recently sold a name at sedo and another name at namecheap. The name I sold at sedo was registered with namecheap as well and I pushed the name to sedo's account on 1st december. After numerous emails and after not getting any response from dover finally I send a pm here at NP to marta and shortly afterwards I've got email confirming the transfer. I still wait for the funds. All in all a typicall sedo sale takes around 10 days and is a little annoying. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/domain-name-discussion/263611-offer-thru-email.html On the other hand my sale at namecheap was unbelievably smooth. The buyer had posted a message on forum and I offered a name with a fixed price. He said ok and I have put the name on namecheap marketplace with agreed price. This is so easy. Go to namecheap and click on the name. On the left it says put for sale and you click on this link and thats it. Then I have send the link to buyer and went to work. When I came back the name was gone from my account and the money was there. Of course namecheap keeps both the money and domain in their system for a while to ensure everthing is ok but this is no problem. The buyer has got his domain in minutes and I didn't have to wait or email people. Namecheap sale was completed within hours and I'm still waiting for sedo to confirm that they didn't make the buyer run away. |
