'use' is I think 'usa' typed quickly. Currently service is only available to merchants in USA and UK. Buyers can be from other countries. PayPal is by far the favourite right now.

I'd go with PayPal.

Google Checkout could be so much more if Google put effort into marketing it. They seemed to just let it fall by the wayside. What a waste...

Paypal FTW. Gotta Agree with tritrain. If google did put in effort to market it, i'm sure they will be much more welcomed than paypal. And google checkout is currently only available in the States. =/

ye if they make it available even to the countries which are not available in paypal that would be awesome

I like how being a google checkout merchant means i dont have to pay transaction fees. For every dollar i spend on adwords, I am given like $10 in free transaction processing. If you do not spend money on adwords then transaction processing is only 2% + 20 cents instead of paypal's much higher rate.

If you take proper care then paypal is good as it is used widely.

Google checkout is also good in its own way.

I'm from the UK. Google Checkout won't take my card, Paypal will. 'Nuff said.

Free Alternative to PayPal

There is a new FREE service called Revolution MoneyExchange:
- free Person-to-Person Payment System and they offer $25 Bonus Promotionwhich you can cash immediately (you will receive it in 2 days)
Here is a review/oveview
It has less features than Paypal, but I've heard in May they will introduce a debit card - it makes sense sign up...

Paypal is the most acceptable method. In most cases people will offer customers two to three options for payment methods as you might be losing out on potential business. 2checkout, paypal and Clickbank are good options. However Clickbank is only good if you are offering a service/digital product really.
