I myself will not be constucting my sites, however I wanted to know if someone could me the 411 of having this option on a website. I would even apreciate recommendations on who to use for it.

1.) Is there an affordable way to do text only chat for unlimited users?
2.) Is it less of a headache to outsource for management?
3.) Are all costs based on the number of users?
4.) Is there a way to pay one price to have installed on more than one site?

These are the few questions I have now, but I am probably not thinking of other things involved. If you could provide me with insight into the above questions, or other important issues I have not thought of, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also- maybe you could provide me with a list criteria which would allow me to evaluate different options/providers.
