ATM do you agree with 3character.com's approximate pricing? (As of Today - updated today - 3-Letter .us - $110 for sight-unseen)
And do you think that in April this will be increasing (I know your comment earlier was it was a "hunch" - just pressing further

)?

At the mo I'm seeing:

Worst letters - $110-$130
Average letters - $130-$150
Premium letters - $200+

Actually, the $110 price may even be high at the moment for the worst LLL.us domains. The market is very very low right now--it's a buyer's market. That being said, premium LLL.us domains are extremely difficult to find right now. Once the drops start occuring in April, you'll see prices jump, mark my words. Note, I'm making an argument that contradicts the traditional supply/demand theory so you can take my argument with a grain of salt.

I wondered when our regular scheduled LLL.us basher would show up. Whose fault is it this time, Dick Cheneys, or should we blame the weather?

"Stopped to think"? I think it's pretty damn obvious LLL.us are fetching less than they were last summer, what's to think about?

Last summer (Aug) the min was about $90. I know because there were people crying out for them and I sold a couple of junk letter ones for this price.

A couple of days ago I posted a mix of low to mid quality LLL.us for $125 each. Many were taken but not all.

Later this year the price will hopefully rise closer to $200.

Last summer (at least in August), junk letters were going for $65. Earlier in the summer, prices were slightly lower.

Has a meaning to you? To me it's just the ticker symbol for Ryland homes and a little known MMORPG (well, it does make me think of Rhyl too, but that won't apply to too many on this board reading the .US section)

Thinking back I guess fall/autumn would have been more accurate. Right after the first big run up in prices last summer, for a while there it was hard to find much below $120-150 a name.

Picked up 6 more last week btw, still keeping the faith

Just read the whole thing. Looks like I picked up not only a name with history but a name with history in my niche, who knew. $2500 for a non-word LLL.us back then - if the offer was ever genuine he should have taken it and not been so @)(@#($ greedy. Might even contact them myself, or if it gets any traffic redirect it to aardwolf.com

Mat - nothing special on that 6 and I don't remember the actual names, but all have at least one 'bad' letter.

Not an LLL, but a good sign that Elvis-dot-us fetched higher bids than last time (and sold this time at $2500). After Moniker take their cut I'll probably see just over twice what I paid for it, not bad.

Congrats on the sale. ASS.us did poorly and I'm not holding my breathe for POW.us. Seems like the crowd at Traffic only has strong interest in .coms and .mobis.

I wouldn't call a 30k bid for it doing poorly, bar was set too high imho. I'm surprised it got that high, and pleased it did.

I feel bad for those guys with names listed towards the end that thought they had a name in the live auction now getting passed, that would be extremely annoying.
