That's not bad for a less desirable LLL. Still, hovering well above the hundred buck mark. Watching them go on TDNAM with great regularity in what appears to be now the $175-$180 range for something of questionable quality.
Even saw a couple LLL.biz the other day fetch over $200.00! That shocked me. Neither were all that desireable,

Of course, $99 basically == $100...

Why bid? Let BIDNAPPER.COM do it. I have been using them for about the last 4 years.
Yea, it's a sniper service. But screw it, you've been beat by them so why not get the edge.
Flawless, never any down time, never had a problem with them. Set the max you want to go and forget it. It will put in the bid with about 5 seconds or less remaining in the auction. I've won items as much as 10 days out. Never placed the bid on ebay, did not have to watch the auction, not a slave to the computer or ebay. Set it and forget it. If I don't win, then so be it. Went too damn high anyways.
Customizable alerts to let you know if you've been outbid, etc. Usually I turn this option off. I check the acution status from time to time on the control panel and if I decide I want to go higher I do it then.
It is a per fee service but it is worth it. I had tried others in the past that were free but they were way too restricitive on the number of bids placed and how many items you could bid on per week, month, etc.
They currently have a 15 day free trial. When you sign up, use circa1850 as a reference. I think I get 10 days added to my account.
Sorry if this turned into a commercial, but any info is useful info when it comes to domains.
So, back to the regularly scheduled program.
How bout them 3's? LLL, of course.

I agree Matt. .us is going strong. Not the "$125 for 3 bad letters" level yet, but getting there.
In early 2007, I'll be looking to purchase a significant amount of these. Hopefully, the prices won't be much higher then.

Here's a price list of auctions this year that I was watching on tdnam in 2006. It's a nice little snapshot of LLL.us prices this year and how far they've come. Consider this a little holiday gift:
gzv.us 4/4/2006 15:00 $55
xop.us 4/5/2006 14:00 $70
etz.us 4/5/2006 14:00 $56
pzj.us 4/5/2006 15:00 $45
pzv.us 4/5/2006 15:00 $55
qjq.us 4/5/2006 16:00 $36
ixy.us 4/6/2006 11:25 $75
shx.us 4/14/2006 15:33 $50
zaw.us 4/25/2006 11:05 $80
xwa.us 4/29/2006 13:23 $51
qnv.us 5/4/2006 14:25 $36
yof.us 5/6/2006 15:17 $45
dnz.us 5/12/2006 14:15 $51
lta.us 5/22/2006 10:57 $260
tts.us 5/22/2006 11:31 $212
oss.us 5/22/2006 12:06 $230
afl.us 5/22/2006 13:02 $403
tha.us 5/22/2006 13:44 $205
tmp.us 5/22/2006 13:44 $255
wtf.us 5/22/2006 13:46 $405
gwb.us 5/22/2006 13:49 $125
atn.us 5/22/2006 13:53 $203
fia.us 5/22/2006 13:54 $374
fbb.us 5/22/2006 13:54 $182
ayc.us 5/28/2006 16:12 $205
xud.us 7/12/2006 11:42 $40
zza.us 8/3/2006 14:39 $50
fwx.us 8/4/2006 11:49 $75
xta.us 8/14/2006 11:03 $75
Most notable?
zza.us $50 vs. qqa.us $180 = ~350% increase
shx.us $50 vs. rhx.us $131 = ~260% increase
See if you guys can make any good comparisons between these old sales and recent sales!

I had already bought my fill, matt. or so I thought :-(
At the time, I was only predicting modest gains for LLL.us. I still dumped all my free funds (which are meager at best) into it, but I didn't go into debt...
If I had known the gains would be THAT steep (see my edited post above), I would've taken out a small business loan (which I'm planning to do NOW early next year).

If you go back a little earlier the gains are even bigger. I bought 100s and 100s of LLL.us in February for $20-25 a pop!

I see in one of your post you say your on top of the LLL.us list of holders...
lets see the top .us holder of LLL.us had more than 2000 LLL.us names your renewal fees are at least what???
14,000 a year!!! it probable evens out......now thats belief in action......
now if large holders arent able to sustain that punch to the Credit card..........and start selling the market will be saturated before one could say jump....thats a a fast down ward cycle....
and PPc income on LLL.us is really non existent......
its really only a handful of believers that are holding this market...
{its interesting to see that the top holders of the LLL.com and LLL.net market are hidden like ninjas with 5 to 10 different LLc companies and variety of emails and disguise there movements as best they can..} probably well taken advise from their many lawyers...

the glass is half empty over there is it?
considering the top holders arent selling and they are still buying this downward cycle predicted isnt likely
and a 14k reg fee on a 500k portfolio isnt that much
