I agree on your point. The main idea is to make visitors aware of your site and its content. So whenever you post an article be sure it is for the article marketing stuff not for your own site. Have different articles for marketing ad for your fresh content on your site.

As the bottom indicates the author has a vested interest in people submitting articles as they own an article submission site.

I am not suggesting that article submission is a bad idea, done correctly it can create a lot of interest. Just ensure you do it correctly.
