I want to start a webhosting business. Does anyone know of a GOOD reseller? I'm thinking about hostgator.
What would separate mine from the rest? I will listen to advice of others, and I will apply the advice from experts (and customers) to the business. That will make me different. If people start saying, you know, "maybe you should offer this..." "or do that." I will take all suggestions into consideration.
I will also make packages very affordable! Yeah, I think yeah, the industry might be saturated, but I think it's because it's a big industry that will never stop growing. Most webhosts fail, that's why it seems to be saturated. I will enjoy this business, so it doesn't matter to me if I don't get customers flocking to me on DAY 1
, that's ok. The overhead is very low, so I can afford to keep it going.
btw I think it's so saturated because the government doesn't impose any regulations on it, so it's a very good industry to get into. The government has ruined most offline industries imo. Saturation = choices. So that's good. You never want webhosting to be controlled by a handful of corporate conglomerates.
