I'm confused. Is there two auctions this month? My email said it is the INTERNEXT auction....not domainfest. And the INTERNEXT auction is for adult names...no mention of .mobi.

But he said it's for Adult and .mobi domains.

Internext is an adult webmaster conference. It will have an auction of adult names.

DomainFest is a conference for domainers. I haven't heard if there's going to be an auction there or not. Last time they just had a domain trade list passed around and not an auction.

I was not originally gonna go to this one because of the cost, even if I would just be driving up from San Diego. However, a good domain friend of mine whom I've yet to meet in person (danielr on this forum) is going, so now I'm going. Those who are thinking it's too expensive, I will state that I only wasn't going to attend because I've already experienced it when the cost was just the hotel, plus I don't easily take time off of work normally. It really is WELL WORTH the money, especially if you've never been to a domain conference or convention. T.R.A.F.F.I.C. is obviously the one to go to, but it would cost $3,000+ for attendance/hotel/flight, whereas this will be less than $1,000 if you take the advice of some others and just stay at the nearby Holiday Inn. I'm seriously considering doing that even if it is uber-convenient for a lazy person like myself to stay in the same hotel as the fest!

Figure this: At the last fest, I got to meet cool NP'rs like RJ, Cyberian, and dmblea, got a rundown of TM law by the Domain Pope...errr, John Berryhill and...best of all, I won some of Roger's money in poker...not enough to cover my Afternic membership but you can't win 'em all, lol. Also, I had my first in-person domain sale to RJ...that was cool.

It varies. TRAFFIC New York has a $1495 early-bird registration fee and $350/night to stay at the venue hotel, plus travel costs. They do put on a good show, but it is expensive to attend.

NameTrader -- good to hear you'll be at DomainFest again. I wonder if there will be another poker tourney?

I feel so Important now .

Steve, I am looking forward to meeting you and any others here in person.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=258219

I have attended the TRAFFIC convention in the past (VEGAS) and was able to unload some names to MAD.biz... and I heard they will be at the FEST.

But one think I learned... they are looking for traffic and names that get PPC/conversions. I know there will be people there looking at names but its all about converting traffic.

I live outside Vegas so its only a 4 hour drive... but I am going to hit the superbowl traffic after the convention.

BTW... I got the hotelroom for just under $200 per night... just let them know you are with the domain convention and get the discount.
