| Your article is great and I really agree with everything your talking about. Like you I can really see the potential value in short domains. I also feel that we are in the beginning of a new wave of thinking regarding domain names as collectibles and investments.
In the past the big players were the major domainers, buying and selling domains for XXXXXX figures and more. However, most people can instantly get into short domains and within a few years make a profit. Thus, I consider it to be a great investment choice for the working class. Your savings and loan pays about 5% interest, however, even at 15% growth per year which is actually pretty low for a domain, and deducting $7 for registration fees, short domains are a wise choice.
LLL.com, LLLL.com, LLLLL.com, LLLL.nets, NNNNN.coms, L-LL.coms, etc., are what I consider "Investment Quality Domains". In fact, yesterday I created a sales website extolling the LARGE benefits of SMALL domains. |
