They say you have to spend money to make money, but when you start a new business it can be tough to shell out cash for anything that isn't absolutely necessary.

On the other hand, I've recently been looking at some of the mundane things I do in a day including interview transcriptions and quick news posts (I write a TV blog) and I'm thinking it's worth paying someone to do these things for me. The blog itself isn't bringing in enough money to pay for these services, but in theory freeing up my time to do other things could be worth it in the end.

So, thoughts on when it's worth hiring help?
