lookupuk & uklookup (aim to make these sites look up sites (by post code or town) pubs, trains, attractions etc etc..

findituk (kinda same as above but more of a search engine feel)

hourly (updates on the hour, news, weather, sports etc etc)

I'm partial to LLL.mobi - I think that due to the pay by minute and small keyboard / keypad obstacles, that long names will not draw a lot of type in traffic. I'd avoid two and especially three word names when they are $60 still AND there are incredible one word or LLL left.

I count 24 names @ $60 ea = a shitload of money to spend.

MC, thanks for the comments on the individual names. I realize some are a bit long, but I felt that due to the specific and fairly generic nature of them, they possibly would fill a niche. As for the "shitload" of money, yes, it's more than I've ever spent at once on domains, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that even a couple of good sales would have me breaking even. But that will take time, of course.

Now if you'll just excuse me for a moment, I need to cry some more about how much I spent...

BTW, where do you folks stand on the potential usability of hyphens - sure doesn't seem very practical with phone keyboards right now, but then am I missing something?

Are most of you picking up names for development, to sell, or monetize in some other way? What's the best option for parking .mobi names at this point? Any word from Google/Yahoo/MSN on creating a seperate index for mobile-friendly sites? Any more info on traffic coming through your names? It's kind of exciting to be in on the infancy of mobile web traffic... best of luck to you all.
