For those who don't know, celebrityaffairs.com and IHD.mobi are my domains. I think celebrityaffairs.com is the best out of all the domains he's received.

Do you guys think celebrityaffairs is worth more or less than releaseparty? I think it's almost an even trade to be honest, but I wouldn't mind winning as I prefer releaseparty. Opinions are greatly appreciated (as are your votes).

Not a bad idea but I'm afraid I'll have to pass. I don't think it'd be worth pursuing until/if his idea expands (or until syndications pick it up)

I think on the market, undeveloped, CelebrityAffairs would sell for more than ReleaseParty, although I too like ReleaseParty more, mainly because it would suit a music site which is more my thing than CA's likely gossip-related content (I'm thinking about likely developed sites, of course).

Tough call, and it shouldn't be because he should be doing an obviously big trade up at every step if he's going to have ANY chance of reaching $1 million, or am I wrong? I think it's definitely the best offer of the 5, though. IMO, he did a really good trade at the beginning, but it doesn't look like he'll be trading up this round (even trade at best). Hitting a wall this early on could be the beginning of the end since it will be hard for him to trade up after this so it looks like he'll be stuck at this level. I think the only winner here is briman1970 (since it looks like you're going to get releaseparty.com!) and Sid (with your releaseparty.info!!).

It's certainly an interesting goal, but in my opinion he doesn't stand much of a chance. He'll have one heck of a time trying to get a domain that's worth $1 million with trades.

I don't know how much of an "underdog" he really is, have you seen his .mobi portfolio that he links to on the top-left side of his site? If that's for real, it almost makes me want him NOT to succeed!

I mean, why the hell would you waste time with this "silly" idea if you had a domain portfolio like that? It doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, at least you got something out of it.

I've traded CelebrityAffairs.com with ReleaseParty.com and it's now in my GoDaddy account. I'm looking forward to developing this name (someday)!

You guys go and give him some names to put on the voting list. I want someone from Namepros to win my old name.

Plus, if he gets a lot more traffic, ReleaseParty will get some good exposure.

It's a terrible idea, worthless to him and every participant. It'd be different if he traded an early $xx for a late $xx domain, then traded that for an early $xxx all the way up to a $1,000,000 domain. But that'll never happen unless like you said, some 'nutter' jumps in with that sacred LLL.com, .net or similar. And you'd have to be brain damaged to trade a LLL.com for SomeCheapDomain.ws. So this idea is a waste at BEST. I said it wasn't a bad idea at first. Wish I thought heavier before replying.
