| For a seller, the best form of payment is obviously a bank-wire. Money right into the bank, low fees (I think its usually $20), usually instant.
But as Yofie mentioned, the buyer has to trust the seller.
I've sold/bought names only at the forums, and even here, I insist on Escrow for amounts larger than $500 when the buyer is new. The names I've bought by contacting the owners were all bought using Escrow (even though the owners had no clue what it was and were willing to use paypal for xxxx amounts).
I think some of the bigger domainers should do something about it...start some service that conducts only domain sales and ensures payment as well as transfers.
Otherwise, you just have to rely on your guts.. |
