By posting a request for a web design review in this forum, you agree to acknowledge and comply with the following rules and guidelines:
Web Design Forum Rules- The only websites that are allowed for reviews must be allowed in the NamePros Terms of Service. Please refer to our site rules if you are unfamiliar. If your site contains adult content of any sort, request a review here.
- To have your website successfully reviewed, we ask that you only submit websites that are either complete or in the near process of finishing. Please do not submit your site if it barely has any content.
- You must wait a minimum of 7 days (168 hours from the time of the initial review) before having your website reviewed again. Failing to comply with this rule may extend the period in which you must wait. You can only submit one site per every 7 days.
- You can only submit a site if you are the webmaster and/or administrator of the website.
- All standard rules for NamePros still apply. Bumping is only allowed every 24 hours.
- Please do NOT reply in the review forums unless you are specifically interested and having something valuable to add. Please do not post "Nice layout, needs a favicon", "Needs color" or "Get a new banner!!!" as they are not appreciated by the original poster. Do not repeat what the posts above have stated.
- If you do not like the site, say why, do not "flame" or make hurtful comments towards the original poster.
- Do not post links to your site, if a user has to login to view.
(It's fine however, to specify a username and password)
Reporting threads- If you see a Topic or Post that violates NamePros rules, please report the post/thread.
- If you notice a review, that will offend the user, intentional or not, please report it.
Click the
Report button on the post / thread to report it.
Final Notes:- Please do not ask for Web Site Appraisals here, this forum is for reviewing Web Site Designs only.
10/21/2007 Addition to the Review Rules
Label your site:
In addition to your title, label your site:
[Full] For full websites or entrance pages, this includes blogs, forums, etc.
[Mini] For Mini Sites and Adsense/CJ/and other advertising program portals.
[Parked] For Parked sites with content.
(Explanation:Since we're looking at a magnitude of different sites, we need to differentiate between full sites, mini sites and parked sites. With the addition of content and visuals to parked pages, it is in everybody's best interest to let reviewers know what they're about to review and to save yourself from invalid clicks if they occur.)
