Pork Barrel is in reference to Pork Barrel Projects, which are essentially projects thought up by politicians as a way to kick money back into their constituency, even though the project is not necessarily needed, even wanted by the citizens from home.

A couple of examples of this might be the bridge originally scheduled to be built in Alaska so that tourists could visit an island in which none of the inhabitants actually wanted a bridge built. I believe the same congressman also managed to get a six million dollar bus stop funded by the federal government. Here in Indiana, our State Legislature just approved some 800K, I believe the amount was, so that a production of Young Abe Lincoln could be produced at the State Park near his homestead. The list goes on and on, hundreds of millions of dollars worth of taxpayer money spent on projects designed to garner votes rather than actually accomplish what we elect our government officials to work on.

So PorkBarrel.tv could be a watchdog of sorts, unearthing wasteful spending within the government.

Dictator, I am still thinking about, though perhaps it could also serve as a watchdog, listing out, say, the top 100 or so worst dictators in the world, and what abuses they are accused of. Directing light on the cockroaches of the world, as it were.

CommunityCenter.tv has me befuddled, though. With that high of an OVT, I felt I better grab it before I miss out, but I am not sure what to do with it. My wife and I have been involved with a community center here in Gosport Indiana, and it just burned to the ground. So in the short run, it may simply serve as a focal point for our fundraising activities, as we try to raise enough money to bring the shelter back.

If anyone out there reading this has an extra $30,000 to spare, by the way, our community needs some help, PM me. My wife spent three years raising funds for this shelter, and it burned down to the ground 4 days from completion. She is devastated, as am I.

Yep, I mentioned that there were several great regs being mentioned lately and that was one of the ones I liked. I am a horrible skier, but then in my area, we only have bumps and a few hills - you have to really want to ski in order to do so, lol. The nice thing about that topic, though, is that a lot of your skiers will have bucks to spend, it is a high end market. I know of a couple really great affiliate programs for that niche, if the owner wants to get into affiliate marketing.
