just copy the files into the root folder of your webpage and it will do it

make sure that your config info and your cookie paths in your settings are all correct otherwise you will get errors

if your installing a new board phpbb will take care of all this for you

I tried moving the phpBB Forum to the main directory, to no avail. Do I have to replace the public_html directory? I hope someone can guide me through the steps necessary

all the phpbb files should be in the public_html directory

what kind of errors do you get?

/templates/TEMPLATENAME/overall_header.tpl

template name should be the folder where your template is stored

and if your using a older version of phpbb the folder may be template instead of templates
