I was surprised to hear about Happy Joe's as I was out of town for the holiday weekend and didn't know about it. I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Iowa City and there are many Happy Joe's restaurants around my area here. There's a couple in my city and a bunch within about an hour drive from here. All of them are in the Midwest spread around 6 states. Atleast the folks mourning the loss of their favorite pizza place in Iowa City only have a short drive (less than a half hour) up to Cedar Rapids as there are two Happy Joe's there.

If anyone is ever in one of the areas, be sure to stop and visit them as they have the best pizza. Especially Taco Pizza! Yummy! I get pizza from them about weekly. They beat any of the large chains (Papa John's, Domino's, etc.) IMO. :cool:
