Had that happen to me as well. I just deleted it. Probably just a glitch.
My domain shows up as this at google....
nyclasik.info - Read all the latest news on eye surgery
Read all the latest eye surgery news at nyclasik.info. Find the latest information on new york lasik, nyc lasik, plus search associated stories and links. www.nyclasik.info/
Without the 1plus before it. Hmmmm. I thought it would show up differently.
Weve optimis(z)ed the site so the MySql queries dont melt the server and tidied up the "afternoon" news page so it doesnt write all across the page with long URLS etc plus we've taken the news feeds from google (as Yahoo didnt seem to like serving us with 50000 queries a day)
So, check out my http://WiMax.tv to see how I envisaged the site looking when I set out on this conquest. (You'll notice that Wimax now has a page rank also )
Ian, WiMax.tv looks amazing! Moving the NamePros and 1Plus banners below like that makes the site look very neat and tight (gets rid of the cluttered look).
I have the other skin choice selected now (the blue one) but I'm headed to your control panel to switch to that one if it's out.
The only difficulty I'm having is that I enter the keywords, hit "update" but after it updates, the keywords I entered are gone. This does not happen every time, maybe one out of 30 times.
"You can obviously hand copy your domains and keywords etc from the domain manager page Kenny and drop them into excel... "
This reminds me to post a reminder to folks who want to preserve their May stats to either screen capture, browser print (landscape), or copy-n-paste their account stats info before June happens. This is ass-uming that the ability to call up historical stats records is still in process, so this would be an interim mode of archiving your May stats for the short term.
I was getting those errors earlier, but now it's okay.
Is anybody else getting either nothing showing up where their google adsense banners should be or completely unrelated ads?
It appears to have something to do with whether the www is typed into the URL. For example, when I type in http://www.loanya.com I get proper adsense links at the top and the side. But when I type in http://loanya.com I get completely unrelated ads up top, and the side banner has nothing.
Please advise.
It looks like I too get the error messages again.
We shouldn't worry - just chalk it up to development growing pains.

My pages seem to be working ok now. About 1/2 hr. ago, my top banner on my sites kept displaying public service ads, but now it seems to be ok. So, yeah....development growing pains is right.
I understand how frustrating this might be, but you have to understand, we have no control over what google displays on your pages. If you are unclear as to how google provides the correct ads, its as follows:
1. You place an adsense code on your site.
2. When someone visits your site, Google sees that this is on a page that hasnt yet been indexed by its adsense bot and schedules a visit.
3. After a number of different IP's have visited your site or as and when the bot decides to find your site, on its own merit, it indexes all the text on the page and finds relevant advertisers.
4. You then see the content matching ads provided by google.
5. In the instance of 1plus.net, we have manipulated the adsense bot (using approved methods I hasten to add) so that the only text the bot looks at when indexing your site is/are your main keyword/s.
6. So, if you see public service ads or blank spaces (where your ads should be) its down to one of two reasons. A, The bot hasnt indexed your site and/or sub pages yet. Or B, Your keyword/s are weak and havent been chosen by advertisers.
7. This is the reason we have enabled the feature to host users alternate banners in the event google cant supply.. Again, if you browse about one of my sites http://WiMax.tv, you'll see the alternate banners being displayed on some of the more remote pages.
With regard the odd MySql errors weve been experiencing, this is due to the amount of features weve added to the site and queries that they now generate. The site is now serving 7000 odd domains and 20,000 pages a day. So, just for the time being while we hard code some parts of the site and optimise other bits, weve disabled the unique visitor log.
Hope thats all ok guys, but im sure youd rather have a fast, 100% uptime site than to see what IP your visitors are from. Will re-enable soon..
seems like there is still problem (or maybe only for this site ), but my site html.st is generating a google error. i just recently moved it to your nameservers ...
can you take a look please when you find some time?
I now fully understand how the Google adsense setup works, but what I don't get is why I sometimes Google places related ads, but other times it places blanks or unrelated ads, then it'll put related ads again. It appears to go back and forth. But I guess that's a Google thing, so no worries.
The bots sometime get a bit stuck on your pages because of the open ended/ unlimited amount of possible pages. If they follow the popular news links, they could visit several thousand of your pages...
Ive not seen any evidence yet that these have all been listed (though when users domains were sub domains of 1plus.net quite a few got 400-500 pages indexed and listed) but, seeing as though the NS feature has only just happened, I guess patience is the key ..
I hope youve all noticed a considerable increase in page load speed...?? Hope so, as weve been hard coding large parts of the site and 'what we have control of' is now super fast.. Come on google, keep up...
There is a temporary page load speed indicator at the bottom of "afternoon" news
this is because you had chosen the old style parking, have re-configured, check now..
And nRnF's response (at least I think it was to my question) pointing out the earlier:
Shouldn't this mean more "hits" and less uniques as visits from the same IP will only be counted as unique once a month? Even if they are from "duplicate" Google/Yahoo/MSN bots with different IP's, each IP used should register as unique only once.
"They" (the SE optimizers) say that characters/words in the Title bar should not we wasted and that one should immediately list/use only those that are directly relevent to the site topic. Based upon this idea, what do you think of possibly changing the Title bar code so that more keywords are displayed?
Example:
"mysitename.com - The latest (main KW) news : (secondary kw's)"
There will be some mis-reporting during this time, while we try to find the source that, at busy times, is melting our server..
A trial and error process - but with so many features on your sites and, more relevant, MySql queries taking place at the same time were Cache'ing some areas, hard coding others..
But get there we shall... Anyone else noticed the page load speed difference??
