tamarinseed

What do you think of this site I did recently? You can even post a comment or two in the guestbook. The site has a php news interface (so that she can update the news herself).

By the way, the site is about a girl called Tamarin, who is a solo singer.

Deathdart is on a distinguished road
You might want to wait a bit longer for comments before posting "no-one commenting?"; it does take some time for users to reply to your post.

The site looks quite nice, but I'm not really a fan of pink. Since it is a site for a solo female singer, I suppose the pink is appropriate. Maybe try some variation in the content text size/colours. Darken the text colour a bit; magenta on white hurts my eye. Also, maybe make the navigation a bit more obvious. I hardly noticed it, discarding it as a design feature.

its a nice site, but it hurts my eyes. Now im 19 and my eyes are fresh and I have a hard time reading the pink text on the white background. Its a cool design though. That intro page, you dont really need. Normally if you have a intro page you either have 2 versions of the site, HTML and Flash. It should just go to the mail page of the site. The title of the page....you wont get very good results in a search. So if you were going for that you should change that. Then saying screen resolution 1024x768 or higher and best viewed with IE 5 or higher.....well you should have made you site to fit the world. Not just certain users with those settings. What if you have a person who is really interested in her site and there running IE 3.0 with 800x600 resolution. they'll be on the site for 5 seconds and be off....or a person using a mac, using a linux box. Ya know waht i mean.

mmmmm, good points.

However, if someone is using IE3, they need to get with the program. One can't wait around worrying about old browsers - look at some of the leading websites - they use Flash and IE5 features etc....

a good idea gone bad. Its a good layout but the colours are horrible and make me want to close the window ASAP. You need something easier on the eyes.

Very pink with a lot of blue contrast. Interesting start.
