Wouldn't be better to get Hindi names instead than English ones?
Or, given that India was for a long time an English colony, English is the main language there?

There's a very large English-speaking population that continues to grow there given the markets over there and availability of labor forces. That's why English names are popular and doing well.

I think english domains with .in extensions are popular because the .in ext. is such a nice clean one. Also there are quite a few Indians that also speak english. I also know for a fact that Indian-Americans will type in site.in instead of site.com simply because they are looking for more legitimate and targeted information.

It's a good market to be .in

I agree with TK, it's short, it's a .in, it has to be worth something. Just hang on to it, and don't be in a hurry to get rid of it.
