If I remember correctly, I used to own this domain few years ago. I bought this domain at forum and few days later someone tried to transfer it out. I canceled the transfer but it happened maybe two more times. Then I changed epp code, locked the domain and that stopped.

everyone registering .in/.co.in/.firm.in and other .in tld's have you went back and checked how many end user sales have you made so far and how much has been invested? do some calculation, math around it and register sensible IMHO... just a word of advise from moi

I know it doesnt hurt to spend a few at this price (registration cost), however the question remains.. can one sustain these for next few years with high renewal costs as I see most of the domain names registered within the tld will be required to be held for sometime before they see an end user offer, until and unless it is something like generic & or wanted term; take for example SEO,in (currently being auctioned off by Latona in his upcoming event and reserve is set at somewhat low 5 figures).. You are so right about this. It is tempting to reg at $3.99, but next year renewing will be $12.99...

I used to develop 20-30 percent of my domains into minisites. Before whypark came in picture. now i load my domains on whypark. For some I use organic traffic so i have got distracted from minisite dev. concept. need to move back to my original project of getting $ 1 from each site. It is very hard to keep schedule if domaining is not your bread and butter.

my yearly renewal costs is between $1k-$1.5K, and i spend more than that on drinking in a year,so i find the current renewal costs easily justifiable,and i make sure to sometimes super extend the expiration date of my best names.If i don't snag the good .in names i see,others will get them, so i might as well get some of them. the lll.in market isn't what it used to be in 2007/2008,so i'll buy .ins till my stomach is full of them and i can't afford them anymore

For really good .in domains, the renewal costs will be crumbs compared to their worth, so the real cost is the initial acquisition price.Good.IN domains are only gaining in value.
