Ohh after a few months you'll be on your way to be an premium publisher.
Yeah right!
You make it sound really simple don't you?

I'ts not exactly a rince and repeat business.

You know what is realistic? what you are stating here! It's more likely to be the other way around. Most premium sites are not runned by an amateur as you would like to make people believe. There is a signific amount of work put in to make a site work as the sites of premium publishers do. Granted the owner may not be so knowledgable but he has to PAY others to make the site work to it's level most sites are on.

Really? care to back that up? Not likely this is the case!

This should provide you steady and good traffic. In 2-4 months, you would be having enough traffic to have good amount of click-throughs.

Directories providing a steady and good traffic flow? Not likely! Directories are good for link bulding and in the process a small amount of traffic may trinkle in.
But the way you described ''steady and good traffic'' is not the case.
Placing links on directories is a install and forget operation and is not be expected to deliver a steady flow of traffic.

Personally i think you are promoting the work that is involved with gaining a substantial form of success in such a manor that portraits the whole thing a little to easy.
Success for the most part doesn't come easy and this especially counts for adsense!
The only reason why someone would want to portrait this as easy is promoting their own products or they are not that well informed.

So all you youngsters don't fall for these automated turnkey sites because it takes real effort to gain success in the adsense game and can not be achieved in the way is described above.
Unless the OP is not that well informed about Adsense i regard this as spam an a attempt to find customers for those outdated Made For Adsense sites.

Just an opinion from someone who have seen to many of these sales pitches.

Well, I am sure you would have more experience in this field then me. Care to share it will all the members around here instead to finding nooks in the article. This article was to share my part of knowledge with members here and at other forums.

One more thing, apart from being the link builder, directories provide targeted and streamlined traffic then the random search engine traffic. It may be less compared to search engine traffic but who needs 1 Million untargeted hits anyways. Main thing will selling something is getting targetted traffic and thats what precisely the directories provide IMHO.

About the premium publisher, I would agree with you point. Things have changed from the time I posted this article. All though this time interval seem less but yeh, now the game in amoung the biggies. All though it is not totally amoung them, many amatuers do land up in Adsense goldmine.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read the article and discussing few points. All in good time.

Thanks.

Admans.

Edit: Hey, I just noticed this article being posted at Devshed. Kudos to whoever posted it their.

You sound 17 :( ..... Not realizing, or caring, there is a 15 year old who posted a little before you. Your language reflects your maturity or the lack there of. You sound lazy with your time and your manors. I would venture to say you’re a problem finder rather that a problem solver.

Do you figure that because a few great men made it to the moon….that all men can? Or are you going to tell me that “you” have achieved a terrestrial orbit and that you could land on the moon if you felt like it ?

PS
I’ve never seen a NP’s member call another NPs member a “dummy” in your context. The poster should be greatly offended.
I know I am. :(

What is it from me that you would like me to share? I think this is a very vague question. My reply to your post was to provide another view on this matter since it ''walks'' and ''talks'' like a duck if you catch my drift. These MFA-Made For Adsense websites are outdated and have no effect regarding success in this Adsense business. only ones having success are the ones selling these MFA websites to newbies or gollible people. That was my point.

The ''nooks'' as you downplay it are the issues at bay to be wary of. There is no 3-4 month program for succesfull results with Adsense

Directories may provide targeted traffic if your site is listed in the proper category but the traffic is minimal and not worth even being mentioned as a factor of adsense results. I would choose 1 million untargeted hits over the directory traffic anytime since the click through percentage of the 1 million hits would be more then the possible click through traffic from directories.
Directories only provide a link for you which in result when things ad up give you a higher page rank.
I would not depend on it regarding traffic flow since and this is most important most of the time your site is deeply burried in the results.

How do you mean changed? Requirements for being a Premium Publisher haven't changed that drasticly. You still need a serious amount of pageviews to be one.
The ''amateurs'' as you describe that land up in a goldmine are hard working people and they don't use those stinking (pardon me being frank here) MFA websites. They make sticky websites with relevant content and take time to build a serious website dedicated to a certain topic/service or product.

admans 05-06-2006 11:36 AM

Points agreed. I didnt mean to offend you any way. I was just replying to your post from my point of view. Mind sharing more info on this matter?

Admans.

Damion 05-06-2006 11:53 AM

No problem here and i am not offended.
What specifly do you want me to eloborate on?
I think i have made my point regarding these MFA websites and achieving success with PPC programs.

The most important issue that i have not seen in your article is the time envolved with SEO tactics to raise your rankings in the SE's. Content comes first and then traffic.

Are you seriously interested or are you fishing for information to improve your next sales pitch?

admans 05-06-2006 12:17 PM

I am genuinely interested in learning the ropes of Internet Marketing and SEO. I do have knowledge of SEO but would surely like to share some points with ya coz i feel the more you share the info. more resourceful it gets.

I know the amount I have to dedicate to my sites just in order to get them into good rankings. I prefer content to traffic coz whatever people may say, I feel content is still the king and it will be in future. Also, I have noticed, the more your site gets older the more better it gets in SEs and also the traffic improves. Any bright ideas for long term approach.

I am interested in having an article directory with a difference. Would getting articles from others help to this new article site rankings. How should i got about with the SEO of this site?

Regards,

Admans.

Damion 05-06-2006 12:32 PM

I would advise to drop by forums dedicated to SEO tactics and browse through their archive. Seo blogs are also a must to expand your know how on these things.

I send you a PM with some additional information regarding forums and blogs that i once send someone else but in this case also applies to your situation.
I don't have a magic formula that gives you #1 SE positions for you and if i did i would sell it to the highest bidder :sold: just continue asking but ask questions directed to a specific topic.

What can i do? and such result in standard or vague answers.
Try to establish what factors there are you should considder for making your plan of attack...hmm i just recalled something that may be a nice starting point.

Check out this website that contains some nice information to work from and ask questions about on the forums i provided to you in the PM i just send you.

Like your concept!!

Very well described. I think everyone of us know of all of these points but some how we tend to miss some of them.

admans 05-17-2006 10:35 PM

Yes. I agree, its not easy to keep track of everything and each site brings with it different scenerios and challenges. Thats what makes the given concept even more attractive.
