| I broke down and got a couple. It is a curious balance - the names I get now cost ~$4 less than those I got in May, but the quality is less. So it is a question of how much that difference in quality is worth when I sell. Of course, if I hold for years, as I intend, the $4 will be a small percentage of my cost. Still, the quality I got today is not that far off from May. I picked up some CCC.nets a few months before they went extinct, and a few more a day or two before. So near yet...... I based that guess on a straight line projection from the regs that were happening back then. Except for a month when everyone was distracted by the .Mobi landrush, and this run at the end, registrations minus drops have kept a incredibly even pace. When you look at that graph on DYYO ( http://dyyo.com/analysis_remaining.php ) I think you are seeing the baseline growth of the internet. Musings - should that growth be linear or shouldn't it be as a percentage of existing. That graph looks linear. Perhaps it is a percentage, but the difference is not noticeable.
