You are browsing on google. You are looking for, I don't know, free ballons.
You find a website, and the description sounds correct to your needs. You click on the link, and you come up to this horrible looking page.
The page has a puke green background with yellow text describing how the website was taken down.
You want to get out as fast as you can. When you hit the back button however, nothing happens! You are stuck in a back button javascript trap. What do you do?
Usually, just clicking the back button repeatedly and quickly would do the job. The down arrow next to the <- button (back button ) would also let you go back. I prefer using the back button repeatedly method though. Faster.
Yes...sometimes you're just stuck and are forced to give google a visit.
When a absolutely must get back to search results, I generally try to look in the history and see If I can find where I was in the results.
There are also some places I visit often
(Washington businesses which is a big list) where I know some of the sites do this activity so I will plan a head and open a back up window. (Control +N) - Just in case.
These are so frustrating, especialy since it usualy happens on crappy web sites that you get off google because of their fake spider pages I find. And if they are like that, you will have a million pop ups coming at the same time!
