· #1 | | New Member | Opinons!! Early Development Just wanted to get some opinons about a site I am working on for a gaming site. It is by no means done. None of the content or logic (php) are really there. It is only a template at this point. I would however like to get opinions and ideas for somethings like the background.
Thanks ahead of time http://cretec.biz/dev/axiom/index.php |

· #6 | | New Member | Yeah I know your point about the sub-menu and javascript. I have been thinking about maybe some mouse over on it for some things.
The only reason I may not go that route is because when there is actually content what is going to happen when you click on the "main menu" button you are actually going to go to the main page of that item. The sub-menu will then be available for that page.
I am thinking about having the JS to maybe have a mouse over like I said above so the visitor can have either option of going to the main page or directly to a sub-page.
As for the content I am working hard as we speak writing a whole PHP backend for the content management. The only thing I am not writing for this site is the forum.
Thanks for the input, |

| Very nice so far. Good idea about making the screen resolution of 800x600, I'm one of those people who uses 800x600 and I hate scrolling from side to side on webpages. Keep up the good work, I see some potential in this site. |

· #9 | | New Member | Yeah I try to force myself to make a website as useful as possible to a wide audience. 800x600 just seems to be make sense.
I develop on a 19 inch monitor with a res of 1280x1024, but I have a 15 inch monito r on a Linux box that I test compatability on.
Thanks |
