I'd like to see an updated inner with the current modifications if you have the immediate time.

Also, keep the satellite on a hidden layer or something so we can try it either way if you're the winner, I'm looking at the layout with it and without it and can't decide whether I like it better or worse... it adds something, I think.

Jaker, I can't see any of your entries, have you backed out of the contest due to your little "fight" with some of the competitors?

sure thing... and yes, I kept the satellite on a hidden layer because as I said, I am kind of fond of it and didn't want to completely erase it just in case you changed your mind. Anyways, any type of modification you would like to see? Maybe a change with the use of color? A setup change? Just anything that you'd like to be different. Also, by the ads, if you want, that can be a login area instead of ads, just would require a simple edit that I would do for no charge. One more note (this isn't to give me the edge, but just for the consumer's knowledge) I give all the modifications you want (without 100% changing the design) for no extra charge until satisfication is met, even after the contest.

PS About the "rip" there wasn't any. What the contest holder gave details would place alot of designs to look similar to match what was requested, but the majority would have to be different, which they are. All designs have a similarity due to what the consumer wants, but all entries had something different. Jaker's and Sylense's followed the guidelines, but were still totally different graphically created designs.

The same is with me, however, as stated before (this is for consumer knowledge, not for favoritism) I will work with the design for modifications until a costumer satisfication is reached. Then I will do only one check up after such to see if any issues with the design have been reached. If found false, all further modifications will be done at an extra fee.

I see no reason in stating that support and modifications will be done as this should be a given... a designer should always offer some type of support during the final phases of any project.

So... I believe any contestant would be willing to tweak the design a bit after the closing of the contest.

I've had people PM me in the past if I would work with the design after the contest, which I have always given full support to. So, that was to inform them because I have had those types of questions in past contests. Some people know, some don't.

Also, the big thing they want to know is how, like is there free or paid support afterwards. Some people can like your entry, but not be sure to choose you if you can't or don't allow free or low costing support services. To inform is a good thing, saves them the hassle and stress.

i agree... but in my opinion if you consider yourself to be a designer of any sort you should be able to offer support at least some type of support within the first 24-48 hrs. but as you said, i guess some people don't follow that same guideline. *shrugs*

Yeah, well what I was pointing out is the person might know that there is support, but they always want to know what kind. So, designers saying so can aid in such. I don't have a site to go on, so I just tell them is all.

Sylense, your design is great, however, we didn't feel it says "BetaDot - Technology News" to the end reader, while Jaker's shows the professionality and substantial BetaDot feel we needed. Thank you for your entry, I recommend you try to resell it, or use it as a basis for future contests.

Jaker, if you send me a message with your PayPal address, I would love to see you begin coding immediately, I will send payment as soon as the coded template has arrived and been implemented.
