Ok, I have played games. Therefore I have probably seen thousands of game sites by now. Let me tell you. I've seen a lot of failed ones and I've seen a lot of good ones. What you really are going to need to do is get some sort of CONTENT. Like programs, codes, mods, etc... You're going to need some big bandwidth and big space. Then just fill your server with great programs. Then you can get people saying "Hey dude where did you get that sweet mod" "I got it from Xero Design, get your copy at
http://xero.dzygn.com".
As far as your colors. I like your colors. They are very good and they get rid of that old IPB look (But the bars and copyright kind of give it away but oh well). I'd say drop the smilies with the white backround and get some new ones. Perhaps some gray ones. If you can't find any let me know I have like 400 smilies, should do you a life time
Another thing you may want to consider is minimizing your signature sizes. It's very annoying when the person's signature is 3 times bigger than their post. Especially for people with dial-up connections.
