You are right Rogue

You know - these appraisals are indeed all over the place...

WIth all due respect to Westblock, he had said some time back "Pundit is reg fee - who would try and compete with the big news channels..."

Take into account LIVESHOP.TV - $10,000 plus - everyone on this forum was amazed - LIVESHOP???

Here is what I am thinking - there is no way to know at least as of now....but I am using the following method - if I can guess as to whether this is end user or speculator...I am off to a good start...speculator will IMHO always offer less than an end user - for the simple fact that the speculator is looking for that end user who would come to me - thus the middleman split.....

My guess is that Pundit and any offers received will be from an end user -I don't see any speculation value at all here - because .TV is such an immature market..

So the offer I got on Friday is IMHO an end user.

To develop Pundit will require IMHO, a more than average web development investment.....this is politics (most probably) and connections and deals will need to be made with the right people.....for a totally opposite type of website - lets go with STUPIDVIDEO.TV as an example...Get a website running that allows users to download their videos and hey presto you have your website - the only costs will be getting the word out...with Pundit, you need to get broadcasting rights for pundits' opinions - they charge networks a tidy sum - there will definately be some sort of deal to be worked out to broadcast their opinions on a .TV website....

So with all this investment going into their website - it is likelier that a higher price for the domain name will be met due to the financial strength of the end user.....someone who does not need to really shell out money in the first place - they may not have the financial resources to pay much for their webname.

That is my compass - time will tell whether or not it pans out.....
