First off, my apologies for not seeing this thread before now.
Derek, it would be fine with me. GO .US!
I just took the established .US seal that is used by everybody (domain registrars and the .US registry itself) and re-sized it, added the text and slogan, etc.
I'm not sure about TM issues, or how wide-spread forum use might effect anything...?
