My portfolio website, what do you think of it?

I think it's okay for the most part. I didn't like the colors. :D Honestly I think if you changed the colors to a much much lighter color that would make that website 100% better and keep visitors there alot longer. The artwork looks good though. :) I didn't like the music, but that was nice of you to include an option to turn it off. :D

You portfolio is decent. :) Keep working on it. And well you may want to consider designing for different resolutions especially 800X600 if you want to compete with the big boys. ;)

For the type of website you've got there I think it's pretty good. But if you wanted to use it to convince customers to visit and possibly buy your design services I don't think it's put together very well. :D

Anyways no offense meant by any of what I said that's just from my point of view. :)

do u design anything other than the anime?

Blastafuzix 02-22-2003 02:02 PM

Thanks deadserious for the helpful, honest comment :) I had a light version of the site but decided to make it darker after some months when i redid the layout. What areas of my portfolio should i work on? Yeah ill have to make a client friendly site someday in the future :D

Bobbi i design stuff other than anime, im a well rounded person.

Thx again all :)

Hey I don't mean your not talented though. You can do better then me by far with the graphical and flash stuff. :)

And yea that's exactly what I mean is more of a client/visitor friendly website.

What I meant by keep working on your portfolio is just keep on going with it keep on building it up. I think it's organized fairly well the way it is. :)

I'm a high-res user (1280x1024) so i'm your best friend when it comes to big layouts. My only beef with the size is the splash page, even with my high res i use windows most of the time, and the window that poped up had to be scrolled over, so you may want to consider resizing that. But the main site, i like it.

Yeh i'm another of your reasonably high res users (1152 x 864) and I deffinately think snipping some width off your site would improve the look and feel to it (scrolling horizontally is just not cool!).

Also i'm an underprivileged 56K modem user and i timed you page loading on my comp. 3 MINUTES ! ! !

Thx again for the comments, im sorry you guys have to scroll, i use 1600x1200 but made site for large res users from 1280 and up. The splash got bigger because person hosting me wanted a link to their site in splash so i made it big for all to see heheh. Sorry for the inconvience guys. morbidman sorry about your 56k, i tried keeping site size as low as possible to my idea for it. Thanks again all :D
