I'll add a couple more to the glossary that I've used:

TLA = Three Letter Acronym
GD = Godaddy
WW = Wildwest
RF = Registerfly
NSI = Network Solutions Inc.
VS = Verisign
NW = Namewinner
SN = SnapNames
AN = Afternic
FA = For Auction

gTLD = Generic top level domains (.com, .net, .org, .info, .biz are gTLDs)

UDRP = Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy. That's the policy by which trademark holders can file a dispute against domain holders.

this is a good post, we should copy it to faq somewhere so that I can

Common acronyms can save typing, however I still prefer not to read the uncommon ones since it is hard to translate.
