official site for the FUSE network (formerly MuchMusic USA) is fuse.tv... and Ultimate Fighting Championship's official site is ufc.tv... and even the local NBC station in Los Angeles is nbc4.tv
i do like the extension, but the "premium" stuff kills it. i found a name i wanted, but at $1000/yr, i can't see myself investing in this right now.
just reged SedScreen.tv and SedScreens.tv
This new display tech is the next big thing in flat panel hang-on-the-wall TV and will eliminate everything that has come before (plasma and lcd) by offering better picture quality at a lower price. Sed.tv is already taken since last year and is currently for sale....
Argos nice regs I have read a lot on SED and yes everything been taken for awhile SED.tv SEDTV.COM I will try to find the one great article I read and post.
Checking for a quick update:
Favorite TV registrar? Anything I should know about besides the general registrar caveats or anyone have a more accurate price list than the others? (Other than straight from the horse's mouth which isn't as well searchable as I'd like).
That's a good point, and I agree it's very true from a domain reseller's perspective. I don't think many resellers are going to spend $1,000 registration fee.
From a developer's perspective, it's a bit different though. If you have a strong business plan and are going full steam ahead with development, then 1K doesn't seem so much.
I must admit this extension fascinates me, and I'm just beginning to understand it.
Great thread.

DB I am glad you are getting into .tv because you certainly are asmart domainer, you said it perfectly resellers will not spend that kind of money but Like I have always said .tv is really not a resellers extension. But look for exapmple if you wanted to develop an idea, now I firmly believe you have less words you can use that will work and be intuitive with the extension. But, look at a prime word like JOKE you can use with the ext Joke.tv can be brandable for a multimedia site dealing with humor, JOke.com would cost a fortune, the .tv $500 a reseller would say $500 to reg a name but you are getting your category keyword to develop around.
I do n't like they raised LLL.tv from $500 to $750 but if you want to develop something that goes with the tv ext or is tv related that lll will cost you less than buying the LLL.com SED will be the next thing in TV the .com would probably go for min $10,000 if not $50,000 someone regged the .tv for $500. and SED is intuitive with the .tv ext . SED is coming
Allan use Idotz.net like TT said, best pricing currently. Always search www.tv though then go to IDOTZ and reg anything over $50 on www.tv can only be regged there.
Opinions on a new registration please. Just regged what I think is a premium name.
Anything.tv is $500 a year just regged everything.tv for $29.99 which IMO much better.

Just noticed that you can get .tv for $30.95 on Godaddy.com now.
And if you use the code saveten you'll get an extra 10% off,
so you'll end up on $27.85 pr year..

Heh...that's a great find; "everything" is a highly versatile keyword so the name has much potential, IMO. You are lucky that I didn't find that name first ; @ $30 it's an excellent buy.
Proves that there are still some regular-priced gems waiting to get dug up in the .TV field.

Thanks much for posting that. Some nice savings there.
I wish I had gone to GD instead of idotz. Idotz has additional costs for name forwarding etc... even with all the extra steps and ad cr*p GD throws at you, I think it's an easier interface as well. I'll be transfering mine at some point if I still own them.
