By way of some feedback which you may find helpful for your future designs:
I tried out your parking page for
www.links.com but went back to my customized NameDrive page because of a severe drop in the CTR. The page went from 16% to a little over 2% with a corresponding drop in revenue. It is difficult to say exactly the reasons for this significant drop but my guess is:
1) The 1Park.net page is too cluttered and the relevent ads are too small and not placed in noticeable spots.
2) The RSS feeds were not very interesting. I tried various keywords and the news was on the whole not very enticing. The simple stats on my current page apparently are more enticing than the news feeds (go figure).
3) Load times are noticeable slower and therefore may discourage visitors from staying.
As I was saying, this is just a guess and may only pertain to my links.com. Others with more specific domain names may fair better. In any case, I will keep watching and will continue to experiment with other landing pages that you may develop since I think you have a great concept.
