Ok, heres a brief update of the 26 hours of work weve done over the past 24hrs.. (brief he says

)
In no particular order..
1. Users can now globally be verified via admin (this negates the requirement to verify your domains by hand). All registered users who have contributed to this thread are now life time "trusted users". For new users, we are allowing a DNOA membership number to act as a "trusted user" VerifYer.
2. As requested, visitors to your site can now opt to "join your mailing list" though we are going to trial this for now and if our server goes into meltdown it might get reviewed.
3. We have added the google alternate ad insertion feature to your admin panel backend (and improved it) - So instead of you having to insert an http link into your adsense code, you can now use a nice smartzone script from CJ.com or tradedoubler e.g. and the site will act as intermediary, decipher it and serve the ads chosen using the script... Confused...?? Well, check out
www.WiTv.tv and surf some of the links..
A cool tool, im sure you'll agree..
4. The "latest domains" column on the home page now serves the latest domains rather than the oldest i.e. this is now fixed..
5. Also, as noted above, the global domains list was getting out of hand so this has been sub classified under each domains initial letter.
6. Potential buyers of your domains will get to see the number of unique visitors and total visitors to your sites when they make an enquiry to buy. a la Sedo esque
7. Url masking, as mentioned previously, works fine. The Pros are that your domain will get a higher web presence with certain engines (yahoo in particular) when masked than as a sub page of 1plus.net. Url masking is irrelevant for google however as their indexing spiders are brighter than the average bear and will list your domain regardless. The cons are that maybe not so many sub sub pages of yours will get indexed.
8. A small change to your 'domain name title' is that its now configured to point back to itself. the reason for this is that it helps bring your users back home should they wander through your site and wish to return to whence they came.
9. Meta tags and meta descriptions have been added to all domains and sub pages - though not so if your domain is masked.
10. No movement as yet as to being able to allow users to change nameservers to point to 1plus.net - but we are in discussions with our host right now to get access to the config file needed to activate this.
11. Sub page spaces between keywords now separated by a "+" rather than the underscore (as requested)
12. Default google ads now come in more eyecatching colours - you can obviously place whatever colour ads you require simply by inserting your own code but we felt using brighter colours had more chance of a click.
13. As noticed, individual domains are now fully customisable (sorry customizable).
14. News option (backend) now chosen as the default option.
15. A nice feature has been added backend for multi domain owners enabling them/you to sort their/your domains by column header type - a nice tool when you want to quickly see which ones have most hits e.g.
16. As mentioned previously, clicking the hits/uniques of a domain will show you the IP and date of your visitor/s.
Next up is the fixing of the news page 2. As rightly you say, its not a patch on the 1st one (at the moment) and my intention was to make it a lot better. This will be the case in the end i assure you. We also take on board your disquiet comments regarding moving the overture links and having more generic news in the left hand column - though in mitigation this has been done for 2 reasons : 1. It was against googles t&c's to open auto searches from this column and 2. having fixed, generic news links is better for adsense than serving dynamic pages (i.e. continuously feeding dynamic sub pages will ensure you dont get targetted ads).
All is open for discussion and review however, so post away (if youre still reading this far down)
