Domain Wont Work without www. This is the weirdest things ive ever seen in my 4 years in the hosting industry. http://targetedwebmarketing.com will NOT work but http://www.targetedwebmarketing.com WILL It has fully propagated, and the weird thing is that i transfered a bunch of domains over to these nameservers and setup the accounts... targetedwebmarketing.com was first, but all the ones i did after it work fine. So, whats going on? Any ideas? |
I've run into this before. You need to ask your hosting company about this. Sounds like they have their system misconfigured. |
That is true. Some have it set so that you must enter the www before the domain and do not worry this is not an uncommon problem. |
Sounds like the DNS zone record is not set up to do so. You should have a DNS "A record" set up with www pointing to your IP for the subdomain "www" to point to your root. |
Checking that info now. Its just weird that this has never happened to anything on my server EVER, and now all of the sudden, it happens. |
