I am looking for a host and was wondering what you guys thought of ix webhosting. They look like they are a good host, but i just wanted to check with everybody to make sure. Thanks

hosting depends on your requirements. we can make the best decision for you, if you tell us your requirements for eg

space
bandwidth
php,mysql,cgi?
subdomain or domain

Considering they are selling plans with + UNLIMITED Disk Space, I wouldn't vouch for their reliability or honesty at any time... I'm sure you've seen many threads clearly explaining there's no such thing as unlimited, and if so, it's highly suspicious and not recommended

Actually i knew a guy who was selling hosting and they had unlimited harddrive space located on theire servers :yell:

unmetered bw excists, but unmetered hd doesnt ;-)

also if you signup for a plan, they might just suspend you for using too much " resources ".

altho its up to you.

i dont really need much space or bandwidth right now, im not quite sure what php myspl and cgi are, maybe somebody could explain that. it comes with a free domain. i saw it listed on hostaz.com in their top 10, so i thought it must be somewhat good

i would go with one that seems the best to you usually those are the ones most commonly used.
