| I also think that is a misnomer... A webmaster these days is NOT a marketing person... just a glorified IT guy. Not that there is anything WRONG with that.
But the point is, it is usually the Marketing Department that dictates to the Webmaster (that guy in the small office in the basement with no windows) what to put on the website. Webmaster is LOW end in terms of decision making capability or marketing prowess.
You'd be better off (but still in the "dorky" department) to say Marketing Master than webmaster.
Stay away from the generic terms and you'll set your company ABOVE the rest, not equal to them.
Again, I don't see you pitching a company to be their "webmaster"... I see you being a media solution. Once you get them set up and running, then you hand the keys over to them to manage. Or am I missing your overall business plan here?
