Mixed feelings about .us these days.

I already have a bunch (many of which are for sale [cheap] in a current thread here), and just reg'd a few more:

hannukah.us (3rd most common spelling, I think, but still has 1.3 mil links on Google)

sanctity.us (since my creation.us got listed on GreatDomains, I like religious-sounding ones)

rentmoviesonline.us

However, apart from you wise people, .us still seems very disrespected.

I just checked the availability of about 50 one-word .info names that had expired yesterday, & also checked for the .com/.net/.us versions of those names. The .info's were all gone; no .coms were available, & only one .net; but almost all those names were still available in .us!

It's nice that I could reg them if I wanted, but it's also a little depressing that their value is viewed as so low that nobody else has reg'd all these common single-word .us names.

Cheer me up, somebody!
