if you are using IE then go to Tools > internet Options > Advance >find Restore Defaults at the bottom right .....above the apply !
AND RESTORE AS DEFAULT !
What happened was i would go to msn.com then type a search into the search box & click search, but instead of results i got a white page saying theres an error & that i should email something like *****@***-errors.com, this happened a lot of times too, i think it was webmaster@web-errors.com...
I think that is more than likely some form of spyware/malware operating on your machine, it is commonplace for them to redirect google or search engine results , or display false search results in an attempt for you to visit some of their pages. looks like this is what it is trying to do but conflicting with something on your machine so its not excecuting correctly.
The domain name used in the e-mail is not affiliated with microsoft whatsoever.
My advice would be to check out some of the spyware forums or at the very least run a few spyware scans with various pieces of software.
I was using Firefox & i never have spyware according to Pestpatrol & Ad-aware SE & no viruses neither due to Avast, & when i do those programs remove them...

It was only that day anyway, MSN has worked ever since & the day it was giving me errors it was just asking me to email that address to tell MSN of the error, there were no redirects or links to other web sites, & MSN did work for a couple of searches after that error, then went back to that error, then worked again...
