I don't understand your service. What are you charging for? Adsense signup is through google, and is quite easy. What do you mean "you want google adsense?"

Thanks

Matt 11-21-2003 11:26 AM

I mean, if you have been declined, I think I have a way of assuring your acceptance into Google AdSense :)

Tippy 11-21-2003 12:10 PM

lol, I guess it had nothing to do with the ext, my .org I just submitted was declined... it didnt take long for a responce niether... 1-2 hours.

Now lets see if they tell me why... awaiting reply...

Google seems to have issues related to Domin Name sites. They initially accepted DomainToolBox.com, then yesterday we received the following email.

Quote:
Our program specialists regularly review AdSense websites for various
criteria, including, but not limited to, site content, clear navigation,
and the site's potential value to the AdSense program and the user
experience. We also reserve the right to decline certain applications.

While reviewing your account, our specialists noticed that you are
currently displaying AdWords ads on a type of website that we don't
currently accept into our program (www.domaintoolbox.com ). Such websites
include, but are not limited to, chat sites, personal pages, search
engines, sites that drive traffic through cybersquatting or domain
parking, domain registration sites, and competing ad networks. .......

So it seems that even if you are accepted they can pull your account at anytime. I find it just another example of Googles attitude that they own the web.

It is amazing that the site they approved was DTB and when I read their terms and conditions and Policies, there is no mention of that sites related to the domain industry are on their "Banned" List

So acceptance does not mean acceptance

Look under the "ad placement" heading, second bullet

Code was not used on any Domain Parking Pages, Registration Pages or Thank you pages

Honestly, Adsense was only a test, we moved away from
ads served by other companies when the bubble burst

Kodeking 11-21-2003 08:41 PM

You're right. I was thinking the the word "registration" was pertaining to to the "domain" in the sentence, but iw as wrong.

Tippy 11-22-2003 04:53 AM

They seem to allow some sites and dont allow others even though they are of the same nature, they can kiss my white a$$ :)

BuLLDoG 11-22-2003 07:45 AM

I had also applyed for google adsence some time ago, yestday i applyed, shortly after (4hrs later) i was accepted for www.b-inet.co.uk yay am made-up now lol

phrone 11-22-2003 08:40 AM

I always get turned down by Google  Too cool for them I suppose.

My newest site coming up is going to be a dedication to a friend I lost. Hopefully they will take that so I can use the income to pay for the domain :)

blakekr 01-25-2004 06:21 PM

Oh, okay, they declined DTB because you do domain registrations. Sad, because DTB looks like a wonderful site. I wonder why they have that provision?

Why would they accept a site like this? They might accept you and put the charity ads on there but you make zero money with those. The paying ads that are placed on sites are based on the content of that site.

To quote google "Our policies do not allow sites that provide domain registration or support cybersquatting" Apparently they feel that the tools and lists that DTB provides encourages cybersquatting .

JMJ 01-25-2004 06:51 PM

I got a three # .biz accepted as the main site. :)

Jeanco 01-26-2004 04:59 AM

I had no problem being accepted.

Prosperous 01-30-2004 04:03 PM

SY4, I PM'ed you a few days ago, asking to let me know if this offer was still valid. You read that PM, but I didn't hear back from you... How come?

Cheers,
Rob
