what forum software are you currently using?

SaN-DeeP 08-03-2005 07:02 AM

Have you added googlebot to the spider identification string ? almost all popular forum software support this feature now.

Doesn't mean anything, you'll notice this quite often. Google has a lot of spiders.

Yup google is filled with sneaky spiders. Plus those guest with google thing appear on my forums too so its not a matter of concern they been coming for long . I had google adsense ads and they were there most of the time even when i was not there i suppose. Google Adsense account closed for some freaks actions and now i dont see them no more . So its those google ads that might be attracting the spiders. I doubt that they consume too much bw.
