Canaca.com any good?

Will be getting a new hosting account sometime in the next two months. Is Canaca any good?

meaning???? Looks like a good typo for canada.com, but would be better if it was canaca.ca

Nevermind, just did a bit of research and found out that the only thing good about them is their website design and space/bandwidth allowances.

They also have the .ca as well as an upside down version of their domain; acanac.com/.ca

Yes, they are OUTSTANDING. I use them for all of my sites and refer everyone to them. Use them :)

If you read up some of the more up-to-date ones, you'll know that they've improved ever since the owner change.

Canaca Totally Sucks and i warn everyone not to go there .
Reason :
Me and my freind got hosting from them, there 7$ something plan Paid in advance for a year. Ok setup was fast , but than we had so many problems with them.

first problem :
Sucky Ensim control panel , will take u hours to even figure out how to setup sql database .

Second Problem:
had no .htaccess or u can say didnt have indexing.

Third Problem:
Support is sucky , my freind kept calling them to fix some initial frontpage error which happened on the very first day :
there response: dont use ftp client if ur using the frontpage thing to upload files it will corrupt the setup . And we were like W.T.F.

Fourth:
They will just avoid u totally and will provide no support.

Fifth:
Hmm wanted to setup some gallery suff , Looked and tried and found out they dont even had gd2 enable. We called emailed and what not to enable it:

They Said:
"Sorry we dont have it enabled but will have meeting of some sort to enable it probably next year." The meeting never happened as usual

So Finally we decided lets W.T.F them ...
And asked for our refund. Took around 3 months to get a freaking refund.

So after many months of searching i finally decided to go with aSmarterHost . Atleast they do what you ask them to do have nice support. They didnt allow .htaccess either but asked them and the next day it was enabled. Now thats what i call support . They know what they are doing . Plus there epro plan is more than enough for anyone.


So in Short :

Canaca = Suckiest Hosting Company Out ther with Shitty Control Panel called Ensim.
