not to mention with anybodys credit card on the account, whoever has access can make charges/send money from the cc or bank account.

I really am not into scamming truly.
What if the person verifies my account pays for what I want to pay then unverifies the account.

And why dont you go to the bank with that 20. dollars and open and free checking account? US bank and keybank are free..

Then just use your paypal account on that new checking account?
I dont think you HAVE to have a credit card - You just have to be able to verify its your account.

I could be wrong though

Brian, sounds like you should get an account at a new bank. Most banks will open a new account with $100, sometimes less. You'll have a routing number and account number to provide to paypal the minute you walk out of the bank.

We only have about 2 banks in our town and none are accepted by paypal

My bank has 4 branches in all of florida and it is accepted. This is really a dead issue . Nobody in there right mind will do this . Even if your intentions are good.

Might want to invest in a cab ride to the city then. I sure wouldn't trust my money in a bank that isn't a part of the standard checking system.
