How have you been Paxton ? you making a lot of Number sales, I think the last I did was the sale to you of 503.info. All those NNNN.com that were available were one great opportunity. I remember regging ones that ended in 99 for infomercials like 29.99. There were plenty more in like 2005 that was a time for those late to domaining to have one niche that still had reg fee profits. Nice to see you still got this thread going.

I agree with Ms.Domainer the 0 are the least desirable. Starting with 1 I would think would be better because many may use them for years of the past century.

Numbers that begin with 1 are the best because they have the most uses. Simple logic shows that this is correct. 13019 has many more google hits than 92837. This isn't true for every lower number, but on average the lower numbers have many many more existing uses/users. BTW, I updated the blog with 4.cn auction results for the last month.

Thanks, all. These explanations make sense, especially for 18NN and 19NN domains. Certainly for important historical dates, such as 1776 (U.S. significance), 1492, or 1066. Or the fearsome 1040 as tax season in the U.S. comes to a close (LOL).

It has been awhile, good to see you here. The opportunity with the NNNN .com's was tremendous. I only wish I could have grabbed more and didn't sell as many as I did when they were trading in the mid $XXX range. Although it is hard to fault oneself for taking those kind of profits from reg fee names.

The NNNN.net names haven't appreciated at the same rate, although I've been able to make a few sales here and there that have been very nice. For the most part, I receive offers every week on Sedo in the $60 range. Those are useless when taking into consideration the fees charged, and not worth sending to auction IMHO. Offers are also received from time to time on 4.CN in the $150 USD range. My experience with those offers is that I am usually dealing with people who are not serious about negotiating or buying, although I've made a few sales off those leads.

As evirtual1 posted a few days ago, there aren't many reseller sales on NP or other forums, so I really appreciate rkbdomain's blog updates. Maybe if he has the time, he can report some notable NNNN.net sales here from time to time to keep everyone updated.

I did pick up 1335.org (GoDaddy BIN Closeout), which has just migrated to my account.

Based on prevailing market conditions, this was probably a so-so buy, but it was also a cheap price! At least the category (1NNN) is right.

Perhaps demand will pick up for these NNNN dot orgs, maybe not.
