Try different positions of the banners, sometimes blending them in go well, but other times making them stand out also do better.

Just trail and error untill you find good spots for them really.

Matt is right, experiment with the placement and you can hit the right chord.

Refer to following:

This would help you to optimize placement of ads on your site.

I experimented with one of my site www.webhostrank.info and has infact helped me lot with significant rise in revenue.

Well if youre talking about your arcade site, I would do what WebHost did with his site - blend the ads into the content with the pictures. You already have it set up in a way that you could make it look like a game, place an icon next to it, but instead of linking to the game, place the Google Ad there.

If that's too much, at least consider putting banner ads after every 10th row or something, that'll get some attention as people scroll through the games.

i dont get what you are trying to say, do you think you can rephrase it abit so i can understand it, it sounds like something good sofar though.

This has also been a slow week for me too in adsense but one tip you can also try blending the ads in like Matt said.

The ads on the top of the pages look very bland because the Ad Heading and Ad Text are the same black color. Maybe make the heading a bold red or bold blue so it stands out more. I know on one of my sites which has a mainly white background, I made the background color of the ads a very, very light blue just so it stands out a tiny bit and that made quite a difference in CTR.

Do you think they are a good color now: www.loungeforum.net (near the top of the page)

I think the blues go well together so i think this would be the best color choice to go for, thats just my opinion

hotrod12 06-25-2005 02:19 PM

Try making the BG and border white and then make the title, text, and url that blue that you have now.

Hmmm, i guess it wouldnt hurt to try, il post once i have it up, right now im a bit busy

always place a Leaderboard ads in every page bottom and a 125x125 after the nav bar and a banner is always in top 468x60 that will be good.

You need very high traffic to get accepted in most of those programs.

Not to rain on your parade but you have Adsense on non-content pages such as your registration page which is against Google TOS.
